The Simon Greiner Program Wraps Up Its 5th Year!
C4K is proud to announce that the Simon Greiner Track & Field Program has officially wrapped it's 5th year of helping OKCPS runners do their best! This collaborative partnership between C4K, Fields & Futures, OKCPS, The Greiner Family and Red Coyote Running & Fitness has helped thousands of kids participate in cross country & track. Each fall & spring, runners from each OKCPS middle and high school receive brand new trainers, spikes and racing socks to help them compete throughout the season. Runners also got the opportunity to participate in the Redbud Classic, a 4 minute mile challenge night and more!
This year we served 268 high school athletes and 272 middle school athletes for a total of 553 OKCPS athletes impacted from 19 schools! We wanted to give a very special shoutout to our athletes from Star Spencer, Douglass, John Marshall and Classen SAS who qualified and had a great showing at the 3A/4A and 5A State Championship Meets!
We also had a runner from John Marshall High School named Jamie Richardson who signed to run with Grambling State University in Louisiana!
We are so proud of every single one of our runners - GO OKCPS!!!
