The American Fundraising Foundation Makes a Generous Gift to C4K!
We are so honored to be a recipient of the Golden Pear Grant Award and all it symbolizes! The American Fundraising Foundation (AmFund) is an amazing fundraising organization that provides unrestricted funding support to nonprofits.
Deborah Marshall, Chief Operating Officer of the American Fundraising Foundation, shares “We are pleased to present Cleats for Kids with a Golden Pear Grant. Their application was very compelling, and their work empowers children to live healthier lifestyles. We are grateful for all they are doing to make a difference. The Golden Pear is part of our logo and symbolizes good health, prosperity, longevity and future happiness – all the things we hope for them and the many organizations that impact lives daily.”
These funds will allow Cleats for kids to continue to empower kids to live healthier lifestyles and learn life lessons through sports by providing sports shoes and equipment to kids in need. The ability to participate in sports and physical activity creates greater opportunity for kids to grow their minds, bodies, and characters. These lessons are life changing for these kids. We are thankful for foundations like AmFund that support our mission and help impact kids across our state!
