SKO19 Raises Over $21,000 for C4K Programs
The book is closed on our sixth-annual Summer Kickoff (SKO19) and we couldn't be happier! SKO19 was a family-friendly celebration of everyone's favorite season and Saturday's perfect weather was the icing on the cake.
This event was hosted by our Varsity Board - made up of over 150 high school kids from 20 metro area schools who have a passion for helping other kids through sports-related community service. We are so proud of this group! Their efforts raised over $21,000 for C4K programming.
600 people from all over the city attended SKO19 throughout the day to play catch, enjoy carnival games, try their luck with the dunk tank or enjoy local food from Mission In Pasta Bowl or MOB Grill! There was also another raffle packed full of gift cards and goodies from local businesses.
We loved having kids and adults of all ages out to enjoy the day in a beautiful area of our city! Thank you to all our sponsors, volunteers, vendors, event committees, staff, board and friends for all they did to make this event possible!
