Simon Greiner Track & Field Program Starts Fall Season Off On The Right Foot
The second year of the Simon Greiner Track & Field Program is officially underway! Last week, C4K was honored to partner once again with the Greiner Family, Red Coyote Running & Fitness and Fields & Futures to equip four cross country teams with brand new trainers and spikes.
The Simon Greiner Track & Field Program was started in honor of Edmond Memorial track athlete Simon Greiner to reinvigorate track programs across Oklahoma City. Our three schools from last year (John Marshall, Northwest Classen, and US Grant) returned this year with new runners to outfit and positive outlooks for the season! We were also excited to bring in a fourth school: Harding Charter Prep.
Thanks to Red Coyote Running & Fitness, C4K was again able to partner with New Balance Running to provide over 200 pairs of brand new trainers and spikes to these runners! These kids are going to have a great season with their teams! Further team enrichment including coaches training will be provided by Fields & Futures.
Check out the photos below from last week's super fun distributions!
