Simon Greiner Runners Start the 2020 XC Season
With the 2020-2021 school year underway, albeit virtually for now for OKCPS students, teams are still finding safe ways to practice together. C4K is honored to work with the coaches from our Simon Greiner Program to make sure these runners have the shoes they need to train and compete for this cross country season!
Distributions are happening outside when possible and take place with masks. It's been great to connect again with these athletes and encourage them. This season and school year are sure to bring a few challenges, but these tight-knit teams are sure to face them with passion and tenacity! Thank you to Red Coyote Running and Fitness, Fields & Futures and The Greiner Family for making this program possible once again. It's great to see kids who are so excited to be back with their sports families!
This year, Simon Greiner runners were treated to an extra surprise! Each runner was supplied with high performance running socks thanks to a grant from Express Employment International in Oklahoma City. We even got super special packaging for these kids thanks to the team at Sky Outfitters in Indianapolis. A huge thank you to everyone who made this experience so special for these athletes!
