Our 2020 Simon Greiner Track Season is Underway!
It’s officially track season!
Across our state, thousands of runners are lacing up their trainers and spikes in preparation. It also happens to be a VERY busy season for C4K. Over the next few weeks we will fit and equip 200 OKCPS runners with running shoes and spikes through our Simon Greiner Track & Field Program!
This collaborative effort with Fields & Futures and Red Coyote Running & Fitness is igniting a passion for running in our city. The program began in 2017 and each year we watch the teams grow in both size and dedication to the sport! We are so proud of these runners and all they have accomplished. We can't wait to see what they do this season!
Check below for photos from our fitting sessions with Red Coyote at John Marshall High School, Northwest Classen, US Grant and Harding Charter Prep. We'll be fitting athletes at Taft, Roosevelt and Jefferson Middle Schools in February!
