OKC Marathon Runners: We Need YOU!
C4K's partnership with the Oklahoma City Memorial Marathon continues next week with a special collection drive at the Marathon Health & Fitness Expo at The Cox Convention Center. The expo, presented by OU Medicine and the Oklahoma City Convention & Visitors Bureau is a two-day event featuring products and services to help runners and exercise enthusiasts live their healthiest lives. Runners and spectators alike are encouraged to bring their used sports equipment to the Expo and drop them in the signature C4K Blue Bins! This event is free and open to the public on Friday, April 26 from 11 AM - 7 PM and Saturday, April 27 from 9 AM - 6 PM.
You can find the blue bins at our friends Red Coyote Running & Fitness' booth so keep your eyes peeled! Donation receipts and C4K info sheets will also be attached to those bins for those who donate and want to learn more. Thank you Jon & Burke Beck for giving our bins a home!
C4K accepts new and lightly used equipment of all types, of all sizes, and for all sports! Just think - last year's running shoes may change the life of an Oklahoma student athlete.
Thank you to our friends at the Oklahoma City Memorial Marathon for their partnership this Spring! They've already collected QUITE a bit of equipment for us at Kids Marathon rallies across the entire state. Because of their help, our Locker Room is going to be well stocked for end of Spring sports and summer practices.
