Double Wolf Dare Week Fights for the Forgotten!
Last week was another historic week in Edmond Public Schools! Edmond Santa Fe's Double Wolf Dare Week (DWDW) raised a record-breaking $360,430 for Fight for the Forgotten, an organization targeting bullying in schools. We were incredibly touched by founder Justin Wren's story and the way the organization fights to empower kids of all ages and backgrounds!
As this year's Common Thread recipient, C4K will receive 5% of the funds raised from DWDW as well as Swine Week at Memorial and BALTO at Edmond North. It's been an amazing experience for C4K staff to be in these high school over the last month. We have LOVED sharing the C4K mission of equipping and empowering kids with the community as well as hearing the inspirational stories from the other fundraising week recipients.
A huge thank you to the entire Santa Fe High School community for their dedication to helping others. The generosity of these students and families will help us impact thousands of kids this year with sports shoes and equipment. Thank you for believing in the power of sports!
C4K would also like to thank the Edmond Santa Fe middle schools (Summit & Heartland) who held their own fundraiser in conjunction with Santa Fe High School! Their efforts raised $4,600 for C4K as the Common Thread recipient. Incredible!
