C4K Steps Up to the Virtual Start Line
This past weekend, our amazing community partners at the Oklahoma City Memorial Marathon launched their virtual marathon! Starting on October 4th, runners were able to choose their route for the 20th anniversary of the #RUNtoREMEMBER.
C4K was included in this historical event through the Marathon's "Step Up to the Start Line" collection drive. The team at the Marathon put out a call to their runners asking them to donate a pair of their running shoes. Those shoes were used to honor those who were killed, those who survived, and those changed forever on April 19, 1995 in the above photo. All of these shoes are now on our shelves and ready to be picked up by athletes from across our state!
We are so thankful for our partnership with the Memorial Marathon. These shoe donations will help us equip and empower more athletes through the end of the year!
