C4K Continues Sock Giveaway in Time for Colder Temperatures
Late this Fall, Oklahoma Cleats for Kids (C4K) was honored to partner with the Lemon Family and the Foundation for Oklahoma City Public Schools to provide two additional elementary schools in Oklahoma City with warm, comfortable socks ahead of the winter months.
Just as we did at Edwards Elementary earlier this fall, each child at Martin Luther King Elementary and F.D. Moon Elementary were given two brand new pairs of socks. These children were also provided warm winter coats by the Foundation and the Lemon Family. C4K even got the Junior Varsity Board involved by inviting them to write messages of encouragement on each bag that definitely made the kids smile.
Because of this partnership, C4K was able to impact over 1,000 elementary school students. A huge thank you to community partners like the Lemon Family and The Foundation for Oklahoma City Public Schools who believe in the power of sports.
"We are so thankful for the support of the Foundation for Oklahoma City Public Schools and the Lemon Family for connecting us with these schools," said Executive Director Stacy McDaniel. "We hope this partnership allows more children in Oklahoma City to participate in physical education and the sports they love safely and warmly!"
