BALTO Week 2020 Shows the Power of Community!
C4K would like to congratulate the entire Edmond North community for their amazing work during BALTO Week this February! The entire student body came together to celebrate the event's 25th anniversary and raise $568,082 for The Children's Center Rehabilitation Hospital! This incredible organization will be using the funds to help build The Children’s Center Rehabilitation Hospital’s “Field of Dreams.” From The Children's Center website: "The field will be an adaptive sports complex for inpatients and outpatients allowing them to participate in recreational sports on campus."
As this year's Common Thread recipient, C4K will receive 5% of the funds raised from BALTO as well as Swine Week at Memorial and Double Wolf Dare Week at Santa Fe. We couldn't be more excited to be a part of this historical event in Edmond Public Schools. The work done by these students is a testament to the incredible impact kids can have in the community!
A special thank you to this year's BALTO chairs: Lauren Minnix (also a C4K Varsity Board member) and Paige Diamond! We are so proud of the work you and your school have done!
