A Message from C4K Board of Directors and Staff
At Cleats for Kids (C4K), the health of kids and families is the basis for our mission. As the COVID-19 virus was declared a pandemic, we adopted innovative ways to continue serving youth in our community. With Governor Kevin Stitt’s newest order for non-essential businesses to close in counties affected by COVID-19, we have temporarily suspended Locker Room operations starting March 24, 2020.
During this time, we will be unable to fulfill equipment requests. We have also postponed the C4K YP Board’s Patio Party and cornhole tournament, which was scheduled for April 26, 2020 at the Jones Assembly, in keeping with the current CDC recommendations on large gatherings. We will continue to work closely with our community partners toward the shared goal of supporting our community’s most vulnerable and look forward to a day soon when kids across our state are able to hit the field, court or track with their teams. We know that to many athletes these teams have become like family. When Governor Stitt’s current Safer at Home order is lifted, C4K will be there and ready to help.
