2018 Bedlam Bash Brings 1,000 Items to The Locker Room!
C4K's annual Bedlam Drive and Bash are some of our favorite events of the year! Both provide us the valuable opportunity to partner with some incredibly passionate students from The University of Oklahoma and Oklahoma State University. Over the last four years, student athletes as well as student leaders from both universities have collected thousands of items for kids across the state. In fact, the donations received from this drive are integral to restocking the Locker Room after the very busy summer and fall seasons!
This year's Bedlam Drive was no different. In fact, a record number of 1,000 pieces of equipment as well as $500 were donated!
This HUGE achievement was celebrated at our Bedlam Bash on November 2, 2018 at Capitol Hill High School's Speegle Stadium. The OU & OSU students traveled from their respective campuses with their cars full of basketballs, workout gear, cleats of all sizes, batting tees, gloves, and more ready to cheer on the 5th and 6th graders hitting the field!
This year's drive was coordinated by OSU's Freshman Representative Council and OU's President's Community Scholars. These dedicated C4K ambassadors spread the drive across both campuses and we have no doubt that their promotion played a huge part in this year's success!
